Civil Engineer III, Moffatt & Nichol, Raleigh, NC. Design documents for various civil site developments such as Roadway Design Plans, Traffic Control Plans, Pavement Marking Plans, and Signing Plans. Prepare calculations, technical reports, drawings, and technical specifications. Evaluate and analyze design drawings and specifications. Communicate and compose accurate technical and non-technical reports, correspondence, memorandums, and specifications. Maintain compliance with established principles and practices of civil engineering. Collaborate with other disciplines of project design teams to meet project schedules and budgets.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field, plus three (3) years of related work experience.
Must have one (1) year of experience with/in each of the following:
Designing stormwater and erosion control plans and structures;
Reviewing site layout, utilities, and other infrastructure systems components such as: traffic control plans, pavement marking plans, and signing plans;
GEOPAK, OpenRoads, AutoTurn, GuideSIGN and OpenRail; and
Utilizing design software such as: MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
Up to 5% domestic travel required.
Telecommuting permitted.
Must have or be eligible to obtain a Professional Engineer License.
