The Bioengineering and Surgical Research Group at Departments of Surgery and Bioengineering at the University of Maryland is a national leader in development of circulatory and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support devices. The group is led by a team of engineers and clinicians well-versed in the engineering, clinical, and scientific aspects of medical devices engineering, clinical, and scientific aspects of medical devices.
