WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Manage complex, capital improvement projects within the Division through the planning, design, and construction phases, and advocate Montgomery County’s Vision Zero Action Plan, that would improve pedestrian safety in Montgomery County. The Employee will manage staff and consultants conducting traffic safety studies associated with the County’s high injury network (HIN) and in walksheds associated with the Safe Routes to School Program.  Employee will conduct and manage Pedestrian Roadway Safety Audits throughout Montgomery County, ensuring that the audit recommendations are implemented in a timely manner, and manage the Pedestrian Safety CIP budget.
