RK&K is hiring an entry-level to Jr. level Traffic Design Engineer with 0 to 2 years experience performing all tasks related to successful completion of traffic engineering design projects, including traffic signals, signing/marking, lighting and ITS design.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Duties will include development development of engineering solutions, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, field investigation, and adherence to QA/QC procedures.
• As a Traffic Engineer at RK&K you will help complete projects for project specific and open projects for major state and county transportation departments.
• Prepare documentation and design plans for traffic control devices, including traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, temporary traffic control, lighting, and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS)
• Learn and utilize traffic analysis/simulation tools to perform traffic modeling and simulations
• Prepare technical reports and presentations
