Position:
The Truckee Donner Public Utility District (Truckee Donner PUD) is looking to fill a Journeyman Lineman position.
Under direct supervision of the Electric Foreman and the general supervision of the Electric Operations Manager, the Journeyman Lineman constructs, operates, and maintains the electric power systems within the District. Minimum Qualifications:
To be qualified for this position a candidate must have a high school diploma, successful completion of the Electric Lineman Apprenticeship program, thorough knowledge of power system facilities including substations, switchgear, protective devices and primary and secondary electrical distribution equipment and thorough knowledge of principles and practices of power system operation, maintenance and construction standards. A candidate must have a valid class A CDL drivers license, be CPR & First Aid certified, have the ability to climb power poles and structures without the aid of man-lift equipment, and ability to perform pole top, vault, and bucket rescue within OSHA standards.
