The Village of Skokie is seeking an Engineer to perform work of considerable difficulty in field and office engineering work related to the safe, sound, orderly, and expeditious movement of vehicular, bicyclist, and pedestrian traffic flow through the Village.  I this role, you will conduct surveys to determine necessary corrective procedures; Determine need, appropriate design, and location and ensure conformity of traffic control devices such as signs, roadway markings and traffic signals and implements their installation; Coordinate maintenance of traffic signs, markings, and parking lot lighting; Assist in planning and designing intersection improvements; Confer with Public Safety Depts., business owners and others on traffic-related challenges and solutions; Conduct site plan revie
