Preparing various transportation studies including Traffic Impact Studies, Parking Studies, Pedestrian Studies, Safety Studies and Transportation Management Plans
Preparing Maintenance of Traffic/Traffic Control Plans
Conducting traffic analysis using SYNCHRO and Highway Capacity Manual software
Preparing Technical memoranda
Preparing illustrative drawings, charts and graphs for presentations and reports
Conducting field work and collecting transportation data, including traffic counts
Participating in client and agency meetings
A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related technical field.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the use of Office software
Experience with Synchro, VISSIM, CAD, GIS and Adobe Illustrator
Familiarity with DDOT and MDOT design standars
Telecommuting is allowed.
