The Division Manager will join a team of 300 public works professionals who provide the full range of public works services across San Luis Obispo County. The position works closely with the Department’s Transportation, Utilities, Facilities Planning and Environmental Divisions in delivering capital projects from design through construction using multiple contracting methods. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in a related field. (Job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.) In addition, four years of increasingly responsible professional-level experience performing a variety of administrative or fiscal activities -- two years of the required experience must be in a supervisory position. |
