Are you an engineer with a passion for water resources planning and design work? Do you currently reside or want to relocate to the beautiful Pacific Northwest? Robin Kirschbaum, Inc. (RKI) is an independent, locally-owned firm in Seattle, WA. We bring over 20 years of consulting experience and offer diverse project assignments, leadership opportunities, and professionally challenging work in a highly collaborative environment. We’re growing and we have an opening to add a full-time water resources engineer in our Seattle office.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Manage and deliver water resource projects focused on municipal and industrial stormwater management in the Pacific Northwest
Lead planning and engineering design of stormwater management facilities, including basin-scale stormwater retrofitting, drainage designs for multimodal transportation projects, and systemwide planning and asset management
Assist with marketing to win new work
Mentor other engineers

Here's what we're looking for:

Previous leadership/mentoring experience with a desire to work in a team environment
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering or related field
5+ years of related experience, including preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for drainage and water quality projects
Washington State PE license
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualities:

Passion for water resources work
Enthusiasm to be part of a small start-up
Previous and ongoing successful Seattle-area client relationships
