Perform after the fact financial analyses of energy purchases and sales.

ENERGY MARKET ANALYST II

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the Manager-Power Marketing or designee, collaborates with Power Generation and The Energy Authority (TEA) to formulate daily offer strategies and validate generation inputs within Southwest Power Pool Integrated Market portal. Collects and analyzes electric power market data from multiple data warehouses. Ensures compliance with FERC reporting requirements and market rules. Participates in ongoing training and development necessary to maintain the integrity of manual and automated Power Marketing systems required to prepare monthly and annual corporate and management reporting.
