Ph.D. Program for Fall 2021 Admission

Ideal applicants should have a Master’s degree in Information Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field of study with prior coursework or a strong background in one or more of the following areas:

• Artificial intelligence
• Systems analysis and design or systems engineering
• Enterprise architecture and systems integration
• Technology leadership or management
• Technology platforms

The ISEM Ph.D. program is particularly interested in students who wish to pursue research that advances understanding in and/or applications of the following areas:

• Smart/Cognitive cities
• Cyber-physical systems
• The Physical Internet
• Computing platforms
• Systems science
• Knowledge engineering/artificial intelligence
• Industry intelligence

Students can apply by going to https://harrisburgu.edu/Apply and should be prepared to submit a packet consisting of the following:

• Master’s transcript(s) – 3.3/4.0 minimum GPA
• Two letters of recommendation (at least one corporate)
• Statement of purpose
• Résumé
• GRE scores (65^th percentile Quantitative score minimum)
• Evidence of research capability (e.g., Master’s Thesis, conference publication, published journal article, well-written project report/proposal)
