The Artificial Heart and Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics Labs at The Pennsylvania State University has a Postdoctoral Scholar position open in the field of thromboembolization modeling and cardiovascular fluid dynamics. Candidates who have a strong background in biochemistry, mathematics, and/or fluid dynamics (experimental and computational methods (use of OpenFOAM) are welcome to apply. Experience in blood handling is a plus.
The position requires a doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in a scientific discipline. The duration is for one year, with a possibility of renewal depending on availability of funds. To apply please submit a resume that includes a list of education, publications, work experience and a list of references.
