C.T. Male Associates, a multi-discipline architectural and engineering firm in the Northeast, is seeking to fill a Project Architect/Designer position in our Latham (Albany) NY headquarters; this full-time position offers unlimited potential for advancement, including project management experience, leadership skills development, and firm ownership opportunities.
3-5 years design and construction administration experience
BArch or MArch, NAAB-accredited program
Registered architect in New York State preferred
NCARB certified is a plus
Broad-ranging portfolio of project experience, including commercial, municipal, and public works project types
Strong working knowledge of building systems; must be production proficient in the current version of AutoCAD and CSI MasterFormat specifications.
Knowledge of REVIT is a plus
Demonstrated skill at managing the scope, schedule and budget of projects, including estimating production efforts, project coordination, and building codes
Strong oral and written communication skills and leadership abilities to provide quality client service as a member of the project design team
Self-motivated problem solver
Ability and motivation to mentor supporting team members
A minimal amount of travel within New York State may be required in support of project activities
