The Manager, Quality Improvement will lead our company's Quality Improvement department and its programs, projects and key initiatives. The role will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic department that will collaborate cross-functionally on initiatives that will provide value across our company and for our consumers. This role will also be charged with creating agile and risk-based processes and programs that support change, enable innovation and ensures the simplicity and reliability of the company's Quality systems and standards. The Manager, Quality Improvement reports to the Director, Quality Standards.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
Develops and manages risk-based approaches to prioritize projects and key initiatives. Creates and maintains tools to achieve departmental focus and deliver closure and sustainment of prioritized efforts.
Leads cross-functional efforts to identify solutions. This may include, the identification of cause and recommending appropriate actions. Role will lead cross-functional efforts to co-create solutions that are simple, reliable, and enable agility.
Identifies risks associated with proposed solutions, projects or key initiatives. Qualifies risk, establishes holistic change management around efforts and communicates proactively with impacted parties.
Establishes and monitors key quality performance metrics, shares metrics cross-functionally and to senior leadership, and proactively and collaboratively responds to trends and implements effective corrective and preventive actions.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about modeling and developing an organization that practices relationship-based quality and co-creates solutions. Finally, the ideal candidate must be an agile leader, that is able to lead and manage change that proactively supports a company that is rapidly innovating.
You'll be most successful in this role if you have:
Proven ability to collaborate and lead the development of innovative (outside-the-box) solutions that manage risk, and at the same time, are simple, reliable, and agile.
Proven ability to provide project and organizational leadership in the achievement of departmental and company objectives
Proven ability to identify, track and interpret key quality metrics, and can communicate complex topics to a diverse cross-functional audience.
Proven ability to provide clarity on prioritization and can provide formality around the effective mitigation of adverse trends.

In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:
7 years in a GMP regulated industry. 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control. Experience in dietary supplements or pharmaceuticals preferred.
Must have at least 2 years of leadership experience providing direct supervision.
A solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to utilize common root-cause and risk assessment tools is required.
Project management skills and/or familiarity with common project tools preferred.
Ability to identify, manage and interpret quality metrics.
4-year college or university degree or its equivalent in Chemistry, Biology or related science. Advance degree preferred.
