Project Manager and Senior Engineer Positions - Water and Flood Control

Peterson Brustad, Inc. (PBI) has an immediate need to fill two (2) senior-level engineering positions:

1. Project Manager

Position involves managing studies and designs for water resources projects.  The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:

• Foundational experience as a project engineer producing final design products and study analyses and deliverables
• Good communication skills with staff and with internal and external clients
• Good organization habits, time management, and budget management
• Good record of project successes as demonstrated by repeat business from one or more clients
• Good references
• Client relationships are a plus, but not a requirement; we’ll consider candidates from outside our area willing to relocate

2. Senior Engineer

Position involves being the technical lead and providing mentoring and quality management for projects involving planning and design of drinking water facilities.  Desirable, but not required is the ability to provide a similar role for other types of water resources facilities.  Required capabilities and duties include:

• Drinking water infrastructure design (pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, treatment plants)
• Drinking Water Master Plans
• Engineering services during construction and occasional construction management
• Foundational experience as a project engineer producing final design products and study analyses and deliverables
• Good communication skills with staff and with internal and external clients
• Good organization habits, time management, and budget management
• Good record of project successes as demonstrated by repeat business from one or more clients
• Good references

Additional capabilities desired but not required include:

• Wastewater collection design and master planning
• Stormwater system design and master planning
• Flood control, dam/reservoir, irrigation facility studies and designs
