Highway Designer (PI)
Job No. L-2018-6
As a member of an interdisciplinary design team and under the direction of professional engineers:
Provide technical support to civil engineers working on the design of transportation projects
Prepare design sketches, drawings and renderings using CADD
Calculate plan quantities
Perform field work to investigate existing and construction conditions
Cooperate and coordinate with other design team members
BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent
0 to 3 years of progressive highway design experience
Proficiency with Microstation or Autocad, MSWord and Excel
Proficiency with highway engineering software such as Inroads and Guide Sign
Strong written and verbal communication skills
