The Program Manager collaborates with cross-functional team Leaders to develop and provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture. Oversee the progress of operations directly on large, complex projects as well as within the department.
Lead team of Project Managers responsible for delivery of assigned projects. Manage assigned programs in addition to leadership role. Provide direction, growth opportunities and feedback consistent with Pharmavite Culture & Values
Provide cross-functional team leadership through establishing and facilitating focus, direction and motivation of team members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, and encouraging innovative solutions
Leverage input from all critical functions to create integrated development plans that define the development strategy with associated goals, milestones, critical path, timeline, risks, assumptions, alternative scenarios and budget
Align cross-functional teams to drive decision making in governance settings and to execute on the product development strategy
Promote strong relationships with and between project team members, and serve as key point person for team members on project-related communications and issue identification and management
Work closely with cross-functional team leaders to communicate on program strategy, operational plans, progress and risks to senior management.
Effectively manage team meetings by defining and communicating meeting objectives, capturing and disseminating meeting outcomes/information/action items, and following up on critical actions with teams
Manage and maintain the team(s) SharePoint site
Help to create and improve project/program management tools and best practices
Performs other duties as assigned
Requires a four-year college or university degree or its equivalent.
Requires 5-8 years' experience in a project management or program management with an emphasis in process adherence and metrics.
Ability to foresee and proactively align program to changing business requirements
Ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity
Ability to motivate project teams and influence stakeholders; including executive level
Excellent interpersonal skill; awareness of team and stakeholder dynamics and environment, emotional IQ, active listening
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and skills in Project and/or Program Management, including analyses, gatekeeper management, communication of progress, training strategy development.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with proven ability to take complex information and communicate it broadly and concisely.
Ability to develop internal communication plans that reflect NPD progress.
Ability to work and interact at all levels of the organization; across functions and locations.
Excellent presentation development skills, with the ability to coach others in the development of their presentation story line and slide content.
Strong business acumen and financial literacy; ability to ask insightful business questions that contribute to the creation of useful, practical business solutions that move the business forward in a meaningful way.
Ability to think strategically as well as execute at the detailed level.
Knowledge of project management methodology and can provide high level coaching to others in the use of various project management tools (e.g., RACI, project objective/ scope definition, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Ability to facilitate meetings.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
General office environment. Ability to sit for long periods and move about an office. Requires travel between facilities.
Exposure to disagreeable elements is limited.
The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
Supervises 3-6 direct reports and has indirect responsibility for the performance of cross-functional team members.
