To help fulfill this mission, the agency is seeking candidates for the executive leadership vacancy of the New York Division Administrator located in Albany, NY.
The New York Division Administrator provides executive leadership and direction to a staff of 41 transportation professionals in delivering a complex annual $1.7 billion Federal-aid Highway Program, which is the fourth largest in the Nation. The incumbent provides strategic direction in advancing and implementing the U.S. Department of Transportation and FHWA initiatives, and innovative technologies to reduce highway fatalities, construct new and improve existing infrastructure, and accelerate project delivery. In addition, the incumbent collaborates with state, city, and local officials to address significant and controversial transportation issues in the state of New York State.
