We are looking for Instrumentation and Control Engineers to support Systems Engineering Group projects and our growing business in Gannett Fleming’s Regional Offices. This position will be based out of one of the following offices: Piscataway (NJ), Marlton (NJ), Valley Forge (PA), Camp Hill (PA), Baltimore (MD). It is an excellent time to come join our team.
You will regularly interface with clients and multidisciplinary project team members
You will serve as I&C engineer for projects ranging from minor control system upgrades to major new system designs and installations including the following:
SCADA System server and Database Architecture
(OT) and (IT) Network Architectures and Riser Diagrams
Instrument Installation Details
Control Panel Designs
You will prepare specifications, design bid documentation, and construction estimates
You will have the ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs
You will have the ability to travel to client locations as projects assignments require approximately 30% of your time
A strong technical background with three to fifteen years of hands-on experience designing instrumentation and controls in a consulting engineering role is required
A four-year degree in a technical or engineering related field is required, electrical or controls engineering is preferred
Experience designing water and/or wastewater process control systems is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required
A licensed professional engineer (PE) in at least one of the mid-Atlantic states is preferred.
Experience with ISA standards and recommended practices is preferred
Project Management experience is preferred
Familiar with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework design requirements is preferred
Proficiency with AutoDesk AutoCAD and Revit BIM, and MS Office suite is preferred
Must be able to work independently and to coordinate with team members in other offices
