Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has one or more positions open for experienced civil engineer(s). These positions could be based out of our Lexington, SC or Charleston, SC offices. Responsibilities include developing transportation roadway plans using Microstation/Geopak; determining appropriate lines and grades, cross sections and all applicable design standards in preparation of roadway plans ranging from complex widening projects to smaller intersections improvements; serving as the project manager on projects as necessary. Occasional travel will be required.
The successful candidate will have all of the following:
a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering;
at least five years of relevant work experience; and
a PE license in any state with ability to obtain in South Carolina within six months of start date
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: SCDOT roadway design projects including preparation of final construction plans; PE license in the state of South Carolina; Microstation/Geopak software; managing roadway projects.
