An internationally recognized engineering consulting and services company with domestic and international projects seeks a mining engineer in its Lexington, Kentucky office. This position requires relevant technical training and experience in mining engineering, operation, and/or consulting services. The applicants must have working knowledge of the industry and formal training in mining engineering. RESPEC’s current mining projects focus on limestone, coal, salt, and phosphates across the world.
Qualifications: The successful candidates are expected to have the following qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor of science degree in mining engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) preferable or will have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)/Engineer-in-Training (EIT) examination
Five to ten years of relevant mining experience
Working knowledge of mine planning software, AutoCAD, and MS Office suite software
Current legal ability to live and work in the US.
In addition, the candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally in English.

Additional Salary Information: Salary depends on experience.
