Staff Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience, or Project Civil Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer with a P.E. and a minimum of 5 years experience, or Senior Civil Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer with a P.E. and a minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering and construction. Experience is preferred in one or more of the following fields: civil engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, value engineering, cost estimating, cost-benefit analyses, and construction engineering. Projects would include the design, evaluation, inspection, construction and rehabilitation of dams, levees and other water, flood control and wastewater facilities in the United States, including earth, rockfill, concrete and roller compacted concrete (RCC) structures, levees, pipelines, channels, hydraulic structures, spillways, reservoir outlet works, pump stations, and civil works projects such as coastal breakwaters and jetties. A Master's Degree or higher is preferred, but a lesser degree will be considered based on experience. Requirements also include strong computer skills, good communications and writing skills, and evidence of success in working well with other staff and clients as part of a responsive, technical and professional team.
