The University of Oklahoma, School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science is seeking an outstanding, highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research investigating green infrastructure and low impact development. The post-doctoral research associate will be supervised and mentored by Dr. Jason Vogel.
We are looking for individuals who are ambitious, are good problem solvers, have a high degree of motivation, and have a willingness to learn. The right candidate will receive outstanding support, training and mentorship.
D. in Civil (Environmental) Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, or similar field.
Ability to thrive and work independently in a multi-faceted research program.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write refereed publications, proposals, and trade publication articles.
Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with stormwater and stream management practitioners, environmental regulators, and the general public.
Ability and willingness to work with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, and students.
Ability to establish clear goals and to organize and prioritize work.
