We are seeking to recruit a Principal Engineer, with a strong structural engineering background to run our New York Office alongside our established management board.
You must be a highly motivated and creative individual who enjoys leading a team with a positive ethos to achieve growth and sales.
As a Principal Engineer you will be involved in all areas of the business including:
Developing, maintaining, and expanding business relationships mainly in the greater New York tri-state region.
Participating in consultative sales meetings and technical presentations and compiling proposals for specific customer requirements.
Leading and motivating a professional team delivering investigative engineering projects with varying levels of complexity and contract values.
You are likely to be degree educated engineering professional, with a minimum of 10 years experience.
You will need to have
A good working knowledge of the New York market (including: architects, consulting engineers, property management firms, building owners, general contractors, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, an inquisitive and analytical mind set, with a talent for solving Clients problems
Good commercial and financial skills, as you will be assisting the Board in managing commercial performance, cash flow, margin management and commercial risk on the projects
