O'Rourke Engineering and Planning, also known as Susan E. O'Rourke, P.E., Inc. seeks vibrant traffic engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience. Applicant must have a minimum of an EI with the ability to be licensed as a Professional Engineer within 12 months from hire date.
The firm is located in Stuart, Florida and serves Brevard County to Monroe County. The primary market area includes: St. Lucie, Martin, Okeechobee and Palm Beach Counties.
We are looking for a driven individual who can grow with the firm.
Applicant must possess:
+ strong organizational skills;
+ strong analytical skills;
+ PE or EI with PE in 12 months;
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel;
+Highway Capacity Software
+ Other transportation software a plus.
This position will take on project delegated by the Principal Engineer. This position will supervise and assign work to one intern and or analyst
Because of the firm's community participation levels, this Engineer will be expected to participate in one professional and one community organization with dues and fees covered by the Company.
Additional Salary Information: 3% IRA Matching, 7.5 paid holidays, 12 paid personal days. Insurance to be provided at $250.00/ month if and when Obamacare is repealed. Bonuses are provided based on the individual performance and overall performance of the company.
